About the Course

This workshop starts from the basics of Arduino programming and Analog Electronics. They are taught to use a NodeMCU for connecting to any IOT Platform, having a user interface to control any kind of devices. The students learn to process incoming data from the IOT Platform for automating any household appliances based on the actions taken on the control panel.

The students are encouraged in this workshop to brainstorm "out of the box" automated solutions, to the various pre-existing manual processes around them in their daily life. Since this workshop deals with handling AC Household appliances, a detailed discussion on power electronics and relays is also done along with a live experiment where students actually get to test the code during the workshop against a setup containing some AC Appliances.

Eligibility

This workshop is open to anyone and everyone, having a prior exposure to any sort of programming language. The workshop is intended for Engg. Grads, School Students, Designers and Hobbyists interested in creating interactive and close looped automation systems using and NodeMCU over the internet.
